MSRE Hosts First Annual Spring Training

By Mark Spain Real Estate

May 1st kicked off our first annual Spring Training, a day of skill-building, learning and growing as an organization. The team took a full day to sharpen skills and dig deeper into each aspect of the client experience.

Spring Training helps the team take a full day to sharpen skills and dig deeper into each aspect of the client experience.

A look at the day of Spring Training

We kicked off the day at 8:00 am with breakfast and coffee. Following this, we divided everyone into eight teams: the Braves, Cubs, Twins, Marlins, Giants, Pirates, Tigers and Rockies. Each team, full of either Exclusive Listing Agents or Exclusive Buyer Agents, had the opportunity to attend eight different sessions. Everything from discussing pricing strategies and how to win the bid to how to deliver the best client experience. Every team had a range of agents from each of our different offices in Georgia.

Each session was led by directors and additional leadership from MSRE. “In several different groups, the feedback given was that the training provided by MSRE leadership was more beneficial and authentic than that provided by hired trainers. We won by doing,” says Eric Lutz, Director of Client Acquisition. It was rewarding to bring people with different specialties of the team together to work towards our common goal of delivering an unmatched client experience.

Additional training sessions ranged from diving into the marketing and tech tools we provide our clients to pre-appointment tasks.

We were ecstatic to be joined by several members from the Weissman team, who sponsored lunch from our Local Q.

Spring Training was a great day for us to enjoy meeting new team members and catching up with long-time team members across different offices. We were ecstatic to be joined by several members from the Weissman team, who sponsored lunch from our Local Q.

May 1st kicked off our first annual Spring Training, a day of skill-building, learning and growing as an organization.

Each session named an MVP who showed the highest level of participation and engagement in the group. Following the final session, we held a raffle for all our MVPs. Justine Mattox from our Athens team and Miles Raynor from our Stockbridge team were both excited to win new TVs. Diane Said from our Marietta team and Jordan Joiner from our Alpharetta team both picked to win Braves tickets. In addition to Trey Patterson and April Roberts both winning Bluetooth speakers, Alex Ostendorf won an Anker PowerCore.

Following the end of Spring Training, our team headed over to Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar at Avalon for an evening of great food and awesome company.

From the team

I really enjoyed getting to spend some time with agents that I normally don’t get to interact with. I got a better idea for their personalities, and I have to say we have some awesome people!” -Heather Pitts, Regional Expansion Director.

One impactful reminder for me was in Alisha’s session: “’Your clients’ goals are your goals.’ We all know it, but focusing on it was a great reminder not to lose sight of why we’re here to serve.” -Robyn Strickland, Exclusive Buyer Agent from Athens

My favorite parts were that each session was engaging and interactive to keep their attention and focus. The agents’ energy was high and they were having fun! A few shared with me that Spring Training was hands down the best training we’ve done or provided as a company.” -Lisa Combs, Director of Sales of our Buford team

The participation was at an all-time high. Engagement shown in each session just further proved that our team is the best! My favorite part was having the opportunity to be with an incredible group of people so invested in their personal growth. While competitive, they truly support each other on this journey to being the most elite real estate sales team the industry!”  -Cindy Krampetz, Georgia Vice President of Sales.

I think it really was clear to our team how each of us care about ALL of their development and success, not just our own offices,” -Tom Friberg, Director of Sales for our Stockbridge team.

Thank you to everyone for making it an unforgettable day of learning and growing for the entire organization!
