Mark Spain Real Estate sponsored a successful Nashville food drive with the 95.5 NASH ICON radio station! September was Hunger Action Month, and the Nashville radio station in partnership with Mark Spain Real Estate put together a food drive to help families in need.

Nashville Food Drive
One in eight Middle Tennesseans, including one in seven children, struggle with hunger daily. Mark Spain Real Estate was grateful to sponsor a drive-thru food drive with 95.5 NASH ICON to help Middle Tennessean families. The Nashville food drive raised more than two tons of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. This is equivalent to $3,386 in meals. Held in September, 95.5 listeners could either drop off donations at a drive-thru or donate via the link on the radio station’s website.
“We were founded by focusing on people over transactions,” explained Mark Spain Real Estate President John Makarewicz. “We were honored to be a partner in this food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank serving greater Nashville.”

This fundraiser helped raise money to assist the area’s homeless. This spring, Mark Spain Real Estate was also a partner in the Cumulus Cares Nashville Tornado Relief Radiothon. Our team helped to raise nearly $240,000 to benefit those affected in Middle Tennessee.
