Each month this summer, we are granting one lucky rising senior a Chromebook to tackle their last year of school. We also provided a new fence in Nashville, Tennessee to lend a hand to the Nashville Police and aid in security for the neighborhood. Continue reading to learn more about these efforts!

April and May Chromebook Winners
104.7 The Fish is Atlanta’s home for everything uplifting and positive! The Fish offers many programs to give back to the Atlanta community. They started with the Fish Christmas Wish, where listeners could submit the stories of those who need help and are going through tough times. Generous donations help fund those in need and bring a positive light during the Christmas season around the Atlanta area, and Mark Spain and Mark Spain Real Estate have granted Fish Christmas Wishes each of the last 5 years. In partnership with 104.7 The Fish, Mark Spain also gifts one lucky Atlanta area student each month a Chromebook. One of Mark Spain Real Estate’s values is to constantly grow and improve, and, by giving local area students computers to remain committed to their education, Mark Spain Real Estate is also encouraging our communities to grow with us.
Each month this summer, Mark Spain Real Estate and 104.7 The Fish will be granting one lucky star-student a Chromebook. Each weekday, tune into 104.7 The Fish at 10:30 and 2:10 to hear if your senior is highlighted. We hope to collectively encourage our graduates and stimulate success and knowledge in our seniors!
April’s winner was David from Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia. We are so thankful to be able to reward star students for their achievements!
Congratulations to our May Chromebook Winner, Zion! Zion, a student at Grace Christain Academy, was nominated by his mom. We are so thankful to be able to reward star students for their achievements with our partnership with 104.7 The Fish!
Ayden’s Fish Christmas Wish Update
This past Christmas, we were honored to meet with Ayden and his mom, Anita and officially grant Ayden’s Fish Christmas Wish! Ayden has a rare brittle bone disease and has not been able to see his friends due to the potential health risks of COVID-19. After connecting with a special organization, we gifted Ayden a specially-designed bike. Now, Ayden is peddling around his neighborhood while the neighbors cheer him on!
Acts of Love
After much success with Fish Christmas Wish, The Fish started sponsoring Acts of Love. This is all about neighbors helping neighbors. Each year, The Fish sets out to complete meaningful projects around the Atlanta and Nashville areas. Mark Spain was thankful to grant two Acts of Love in the Fall of 2020. This past month, The Fish and Mark Spain Real Estate set out to again provide an Act of Love to a neighborhood in need in Nashville, Tennessee!
“This was one of our first Fish Act of Love of 2021. Through our partnership with The Fish, we were notified of Antonio’s need and asked if there was any way to help him repair his fence. Antonio has been a force for good in a tougher neighborhood in Nashville. We were thankful to get involved in a project to improve his life and home, help Metro Police, and provide a facelift for this community. Mark Spain Real Estate is grateful to partner with The Fish to install a new 8’ chain link, privacy-screened fence including a 12’ access gate.” – Mark Spain
