Vick Sura, the new Associate Director of Sales for our Buford office, has really done well in exemplifying that value. Vick started with the Mark Spain Real Estate team as an Exclusive Listing Consultant at the beginning of July after being laid off from the automotive industry. As he began evaluating career paths, he knew he was capable of more. Vick decided to pursue his goal of becoming a real estate agent and we cannot wait to see him thrive!

Tell us about you, Vick! Where were you born, and what do you enjoy in your free time?
I was born in Ontario Canada, I moved to Chicago when I was 5 and lived there until I was 15. I then moved to Jefferson City, Missouri where I stayed until I turned 25. I then moved to Portland, Oregon for 2 years before moving to Atlanta. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 German Shepherds, working out, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling and attending concerts.
When and how did you become a part of Mark Spain Real Estate?
I became a part of Mark Spain Real Estate in June of 2020. I was laid off from the automotive industry after 10 years in the business. I have always wanted to become a Realtor so I reached out to Mark Spain Real Estate because I saw how so many people trusted them with their home needs.
How long have you been involved in real estate and where?
I have only been involved in Real Estate for a year now. I started my journey with Mark Spain Real Estate and couldn’t be happier.
Why Mark Spain Real Estate?
I chose Mark Spain Real Estate because of how well known we are in the Atlanta area, and the team environment we have in our offices. I really appreciate having a team that truly wants to see each other grow.
What have you learned the most from working at Mark Spain Real Estate?
I have learned the ins and outs of conducting transactions with sellers as well as how to be a better communicator thanks to Mark Spain Real Estate.
What are your passions in life outside of work?
My passions in life would have to be my family and helping others get what they desire. I have always been taught growing up that if you help others achieve what they desire that Karma will reward you tenfold.
Who inspires you in life?
Honestly, my Father. My father moved to Canada with nothing to his name except a strong work ethic. He was able to provide his family with everything we needed. I look up to him and his work ethic as something to model after. It’s the same kind of life I want to give my future family.
Tell us about the friendships you’ve made at Mark Spain Real Estate.
The friendships I have made at Mark Spain Real Estate are priceless. I’ve been able to connect with new agents, experienced agents, and team leaders. All who have helped me break out of my shell and give me the advice I needed in order to be successful at Mark Spain Real Estate. We really do have THE BEST agents on our team.
What are you looking forward to this year?
I am looking forward to finally being able to travel again this year post covid but I am also looking forward to hitting pro-pay and growing my career with Mark Spain Real Estate.
