Fall is an exciting time of year for Mark Spain Real Estate and our philanthropic community involvement as many of our most exciting community traditions happen as we approach the holidays each year. We are grateful for every opportunity to support the communities we serve, especially for what Mark Spain Real Estate has planned for this season of giving!

So far this fall, we have gifted a Chromebook to two hard-working students in the Atlanta area who are dedicated to their studies. Mark Spain Real Estate’s core values include continually growing and improving, and we are thankful to support students who share the same excitement about learning.

We are honored to be partnering with the Christian radio station in Atlanta, 104.7 The Fish, for our sixth year in order to grant a Christmas Wish to a deserving listener this year.

Why Giving Back Is Important To Mark Spain Real Estate

Recent Chromebook Winners This Fall

In partnership with 104.7 The Fish, Mark Spain Real Estate gifts one student in the Atlanta area a Chromebook each month. By giving local students this resource to supplement their education, we are upholding our value to constantly grow and improve. Our team is passionate about helping our communities grow alongside us!

September’s Chromebook winner was Nick, a student at Mill Creek High School who was nominated by his mother. She commends him for powering through the struggles he has faced, including missing a year of football for an ACL reconstruction. Despite adversity, he was able to maintain an impressive GPA, attend every workout, and dedicate time to his church.

October’s Chromebook winner was Mary Layson, a student at Social Circle Christian School. She was nominated by her father, who told us that his stroke during their fifth year at Mission Field inhibited Mary’s ability to learn to read. Mary had to work extra hard to learn to read and feel as confident with reading as her classmates did. Her teacher and family alike are very proud of this accomplishment!

104.7 The Fish Christmas Wish 2021

In 2006, 104.7 The Fish began a new program called Christmas Wish. Christmas Wish encouraged listeners of the radio station to submit a story about a family member, friend, co-worker, or anyone they believed deserved some extra help during the holiday season. There was no budget, and through the donations and genuine desire to help from listeners and advertisers, the Christmas Wish has successfully changed lives year after year.

Mark Spain Real Estate is blessed to grant a Fish Wish each year to a lucky 104.7 the Fish listener in Atlanta. This December will mark our sixth year partnering with this Christian radio station in granting Fish Wishes, and we cannot wait to grant another well-deserved wish.

Companies or individuals can fund an entire Fish Christmas Wish or donate online to partially fund a wish. All donations are tax-deductible. All funds raised will be used to help fellow Georgia residents.
