In Good Company: The People of MSRE – Sara Archambeau

Sara Archambeau serves as the Director of Sales for the Alpharetta MSRE team. Sara was born in Littleton, Colorado and moved to the Atlanta area when she was two years old. She grew up in Marietta and attended Lassiter High School. Sara received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2005. Following graduation, Sara began her career in the real estate industry with Pulte in new home construction branching out to additional sales roles including pharmaceutical and software sales. Sara’s passion is family and she loves spending time with her husband and two kids.

Sara began her career with Mark Spain Real Estate in 2016 and we are so thankful to have her as a part of our team. We are excited to share more about Sara as our first director in our people of MSRE series!

Why MSRE, Sara Archambeau?

I met Mark while working with Pulte when I first got into real estate, and we stayed in touch over the years. It’s been a pleasure watching Mark Spain Real Estate become what it is today. I was very excited when the timing and opportunity worked out, and was able to come onboard in November of 2016!

I have enjoyed learning a lot of different aspects of the business first on the sales side as an Exclusive Listing Agent and then on the recuriting side as the Director of Talent Acquisition. Now, I get to pair those together to lead the Alpharetta sales team as Director of Sales.

What are your proudest contributions to MSRE this far?

In my first year at Mark Spain Real Estate, I worked hard to have the largest closing volume and highest client satisfaction. Both of these together definitely took hustle and grit but they were something I was very proud of as an agent.

Currently, I am so excited to be leading the largest and most experienced team at MSRE. I love seeing how my team collaborates and works together and am very proud to help nurture their team environment. I also love the healthy level of competition we have!

Why do you lead?

I want to help my agents be able to live the big lives they want to live. Working with them on achieving their goals and being able to remove obstacles for them gives me joy! I love being able to walk alongside my agents to ensure they can be the best they can be.

What types of characteristics do you look for when hiring for your team?

Talent and GRIT. Agents have to be able to problem solve on a high level and must have the talent to handle each issue with the laser focus that is needed. The determination to do what is best for each client is a must. Talent is talent and we look for anyone that has that spark. Whether you’ve been in the business for years or are just getting your license now, we can teach real estate ability but we can’t teach GRIT.

What is your favorite part about the people you work with?

I love how everyone contributes – we believe in specialized services and through all our departments, I love watching the collaboration come together from people of all different backgrounds and personalities to achieve a common goal. We also always make sure to have fun doing all that we do and have a very positive and supportive culture!

What are you most looking forward to this year?

Making an impact in people’s lives! It is very rewarding to work with buyers and sellers on achieving their goals and I am looking forward to working with our entire Alpharetta team to provide the highest level of service to our clients and to make 2018 the best year yet.

What are your passions in life outside of work?

My family! I love watching my son Zachary play soccer and baseball and my daughter Elizabeth do gymnastics. I love anything with my family; they are what keep me balanced. Time with them goes by so quickly, so, I love working for a company that shows the family values.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

We love the beach. With two kids in tow, we usually limit our trips to 6-7 hours of drive time. Next up on our list is Disney World! We picked out of a hat at the beginning of the year and everyone was able to pick a place and put it in the hat – Disney World won for 2018!

Favorite food:

I am not a picky eater – I love to cook so if I could chose a meal it would be something made at home. We love fish tacos, homemade chilli and lasagna roll ups.
