Tell us about you, Shea!  Where were you born, and what do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I was born in Alabama but moved to Georgia when I was very young, and I have lived here ever since! I spent the past four years in Mississippi where I went to Ole Miss to get my undergraduate degree in Marketing.

I have been in sports my entire life and had the amazing opportunity to be a cheerleader for some of my time at Ole Miss. Since graduating I have been able to jump head first into my career at Mark Spain Real Estate and adjust to the working life! I spend my free time working out, spending time with my friends, family, boyfriend and traveling as much as I can!

When and how did you become a part of Mark Spain Real Estate?

I first became a part of Mark Spain Real Estate in January of 2022 as a marketing intern. I was in my last semester of senior year and was given the amazing opportunity to be a part of such a supportive company. I officially joined the team full-time as a Marketing Specialist at the beginning of July. I am so grateful for the environment I am surrounded in and I can not wait to continue to learn and grow with this outstanding group of people!

How long have you been involved in real estate and where? 

Starting with Mark Spain Real Estate was my first true exposure to real estate. Although I have not been involved for long, it always sparked my interest throughout my life! I have already learned so much about marketing and the residential industry and am grateful for all of the opportunities!

Why Mark Spain Real Estate? 

Mark Spain Real Estate has a way of making everyone feel valued and supported in the workplace. This team of professionals is focused on helping everyone achieve their career goals, through continuing education or mentorship. The foundation and morals that this company is bounded by making the workplace a fun place to be!

What have you learned the most from working at Mark Spain Real Estate?

I have already learned so much since joining Mark Spain Real Estate that applies to my personal and professional goals. I am surrounded by so many knowledgeable people that encourage me to learn every day! Something important to me is feeling supported in the workplace, no matter what the matter is. At Mark Spain Real Estate, everyone goes above and beyond to work closely together and reach and exceed goals. I love that about this company, I feel comfortable and pushed to reach great heights every day!

What are your passions in life outside of work?

Outside of work I like to think of ways to better myself and improve my lifestyle. I am a very active person, whether that be physical activity or social activities! I joined Orange theory not long ago and I love working out there and meeting new people! On the weekends I like to spend time with friends and family and get some good quality time together. 

Who inspires you in life, Shea?

My parents inspire me the most in life. They have always taught me to be grateful and appreciative in everything I do. They work hard and are motivated to live a healthy, happy, balanced lifestyle. I aspire to be like them and make them proud of what I do!

Shea, Tell us about the friendships you’ve made at Mark Spain Real Estate.

I have made so many friendships and developed close relationships with the people I work with since first starting at Mark Spain Real Estate. Everyone is so kind and always striving for the best for each other. Each individual has welcomed me with open arms to the company and allowed me to lean on them for support. We all stay focused, motivated, encouraged, and feel loved by each other. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for this team!

What are you looking forward to this year, Shea?

I am looking forward to everything that is to come my way for the remainder of the year! Being a recent graduate I look forward to planting my feet on the ground and becoming more adjusted to a new lifestyle! Looking to set new goals for myself and finish out strong!
