Northview High School

Ranked as the fifth best high school in Georgia, Northview High school is well sought after. It has a 20 to 1 student to teacher ratio and more than 70% of students participate in AP courses.

The school opened in 2002 to help serve the student found in the northeast Fulton County area. Northview High School provides a well-rounded academic program with technology course, fine arts courses and more. This school also offers more than 80 clubs, athletic programs and so much more.

Northview High School had 90% of the graduates from 2014 go on to attend four-year colleges and another 4% went on to attend two-year colleges. The final 6% either went into the military or went on to attend a technical school.

Students from the graduating class of 2014 received more than $6.5 million in scholarships not including the HOPE scholarship. More than 75% of graduates were eligible for the HOPE Scholarship, as well.

Athletics

The high school provides plenty of athletic programs and competes in Region 6-AAAAAA. They provide sports, such as:

Recently, they have won the state championship for Girls Cross Country and the regional championship for both Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country. Many track and field athletes also placed in the top 10 in the state.

Northview High School has an enrollment of more than 1,800 students and provides transportation for students within the area. It’s a part of the Fulton County School District and found in Duluth, Georgia.

GreatSchools.org has rated Northview High School as a 10 out of 10 and the community has given it a four-star rating. The school serves grades nine through 12 and provides one of the top educations within the area. It has even been named at a Gold Medal School by U.S. News.
