This school offers AP classes and over 70% of students participate in these classes. It has also been awarded a Gold Medal by U.S. News.
Academics
Walton High School offers core, elective and AP classes for students to choose from. Some of the classes provide better preparation for college, while others provide preparation for a future career.
Out of the 570 graduates form the 2013 class, over 93% went on to a four-year college, while 6% went on to a two-year college. The school has seen students go to major universities in over 30 different states and three other countries from this class.
The SAT scores for Walton High School are much higher than the national average and the ACT scores are also higher in all three subject areas. Out of the 570 graduating from 2013, 390 of the students were eligible for the HOPE scholarship.

Walton High school serves the Marietta area and has an enrollment of more than 2,600 students. It’s a part of the Cobb County School District and provides transportation for area students.
GreatSchools.org has rated Walton High School as a 10 out of 10 and the community has given the school a four-star rating. This school provides an excellent choice for academics and plenty of other programs for student to enjoy outside of the classroom.
