Shopping, Dining and Entertainment
Once the Streets Of Buckhead is complete, it will become one of the premier destinations for luxury shopping. Many restaurants and other shopping options are also found here, however. Where the three streets meet is one of the most popular spots in Buckhead for fine restaurants.
Along with the shopping options, the Buckhead Theater has recently been restored. This theater is one of the main attractions for the area. Buckhead Triangle is also home to Charlie Loudermilk Park. This park used to be called Triangle Park and provides plenty of interesting features.
This specific area of Buckhead started going through a rebuilding process in 2007. The nightlife had gotten out of hand and new laws were passed to lessen it. The bars used to stay open until 4am, but now they close at 2:30am and more stringent liquor license laws were put in place.
The area formerly known for a large portion of the nightlife was sold to the Streets Of Buckhead project, which will replace the bars with luxury shopping and restaurants. Many of the former bars and clubs were torn down in 2007 as the rebuilding began.
Overall, the Buckhead Village/Buckhead Triangle area is very popular. It has remained a good place to live and the plans will make it even better in the near future.
