Castleberry Hill

Castleberry Hill Real Estate

The neighborhood known as Castleberry Hill is a district found in the Downtown area of Atlanta. This neighborhood is found near the southwest edge of the Atlanta Central Business District. It’s found to the south of the Georgia World Congress Center, Phillips Arena and the Georgia Dome.

Convenience

Those looking for incredible convenience find an address in Castleberry Hill to be very appealing. The neighborhood is found close to some of the best dining and entertainment within the city, along with many of the top employers in Atlanta. Plenty of art studios, art galleries and art exhibits are also found near the area.

Real Estate

Castleberry Hill is known mainly for the large number of lofts found throughout. There are some single-family homes, but the area is mainly made up of lofts. This historic area has recently gone through a bit of a renaissance as developers work to preserve the history of the neighborhood, while making the area more appealing.

Along with the many lofts, this neighborhood is known for the many historic commercial buildings. Many of these building have actually been transformed into lofts, while some still provide retail and dining options.

Things to Do

The neighborhood is found on the National Register of Historic Places due to the warehouse district. It’s known for the art scene and the 2nd Friday ArtStroll is one of the most popular things to do in Castleberry Hill. This free, self-guided tour happens every month and many studios and galleries participate.

FLUX is another huge art event happing here. When FLUX is happening, the streets are filled with visual art, 3-D projections, performers, installations and so much more.

Overall, this is an artsy community with plenty of history. Since many of the homes are lofts, Castleberry Hill is mainly home to artists and young professionals.
