Lanier Country Club Location
The Lanier Country Club Estates subdivision is found in the southern area of Lake Lanier. Fairway Lane leads into the subdivision and it’s not far from GA 400. The subdivision also provides a location less than an hour from the Metro Atlanta area.
Lanier Country Club Estates is found in Forsyth County. The subdivision is served by Mashburn Elementary, Otwell Middle and Forsyth Central High Schools. It’s also found near Mary Alice Park, Young Deer Park and Bald Ridge Campground. The closest marina to Lanier Country Club Estates is the Habersham Marina.
History Of Lanier Country Club Homes
The Lanier Golf Club was created in 1970 and has served the area ever since. It’s an 18-hole championship course with plenty to offer. The semi-private course offers a separate practice area and it’s open to the public.
Over the past few years, the course has been redesigned and improved. This has allowed Lanier Golf Club to become one of the most enjoyable courses in the North Atlanta area. It has also hosted many events recently including a US Open qualifier, the Georgia mid-Amateur qualifier and the Georgia Amateur qualifier.
