Mark Spain, founder and CEO of Mark Spain Real Estate, shared tips to remain successful during COVID-19, live with Jim Fitzpatrick on Atlanta Small Business Show. The April 28, 2020 special is titled, “How This Local Real Estate Tycoon is Giving Frontline Workers Much Needed Peace of Mind for Their Families – Mark Spain”. 

Mark shared how Mark Spain Real Estate has maintained success throughout COVID-19. He told Jim our physical offices remain closed, but our team members are communicating now more than ever. Despite the current health crisis, we are still selling around one hundred homes per week. This shows consumers have confidence and need our professional help in real estate. We are using virtual showings and safe showings to keep our team members and clients safe.

Mark Spain Real Estate’s Philanthropic Efforts During COVID-19

The Mark Spain Foundation is centered around kids because kids don’t choose the environment they are born into. Mark has partnered with the YMCA and has sat on the board of directors for over five years. The Mark Spain Foundation supported the YMCA and local community during the COVID-19 crisis by creating firstresponderchildcare.org to provide the children of front line workers with safe and reliable childcare while they are working hard for our community. The goal of this project is to provide over 1000 children with childcare.

Mark’s Tips to Entrepreneurs During COVID- 19

1. Limit the amount of 24-hour news you are watching and be smart about it.
2. Be positive and surround yourself with people who are going to encourage you and help you during these tough times.
3. Limit the amount of time you spend on social media.
4. Watch your expenses and cut any wasteful expenses within your business you can.
5. Double or triple your efforts to net the same.
6. Be there to support your clients.
