Company Culture Events At Mark Spain Real Estate

Culture events are a huge part of workplace satisfaction. Our team enjoys Whirly Ball nights, softball games, bowling nights, family events, and more. These events focus on community and diving deeper with coworkers outside of the office. Read up below on our most recent company culture event!

The Value of Company Culture Events

Recently, Mark Spain Real Estate and Shelter Lending Services hosted a company-wide bowling night at Main Event!

The team at MSRE headed over after work for a fun night of games and food. We really enjoy these types of events, because not only are they fun, but they encourage teamwork and cooperation. “We find that these events are instrumental for the growth of our team and serve as the glue that knits our dynamic culture,” says Miles Murphy VP of Sales at Mark Spain Real Estate. “At certain times of the year, our folks spend more time with each other than they spend with their significant others. It is vital to building a company culture both inside and outside the office.”

Culture events bring the whole team together, allowing members to feel comfortable and casual. The competitive spirit was evident and brought the entire team together, lifting the line between the management and the rest of the team. After several games, Mark Spain even bowled a game with the interns himself. “I really enjoyed getting to know Mark better in such a fun environment,” says Kendall Ague, administration intern at Mark Spain Real Estate. “As an intern, it made me feel included and a part of the Mark Spain Real Estate family.”

A huge initiative at Mark Spain Real Estate is investing in our people. “Our culture events outside of work have given me the opportunity to really get to know the whole team,” says Davis Howell, Client Care Coordinator. “At MSRE, not only have the events been tons of fun, but they also have improved the working relationships I have across the various departments and have made my workdays that much more enjoyable.”
