Every year, Mark Spain Real Estate is blessed to be able to grant a Fish Wish to one of the listeners of 104.7 the Fish in Atlanta. The holidays are a very special time of year. For the Mark Spain Foundation, it’s a time where we are able to give back and serve our community.
This year, we sponsored Anna and her children Rosalie and Jude from Auburn, GA! Anne is a single mother with one of her children being Autistic. When moving from Texas two years ago, all of Anna’s photography equipment got stolen, making it hard for her to find employment. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to bring some holiday cheer for Anna and her family this Christmas!

Atlanta, GA – Mark Spain Real Estate is partnering for the sixth year with Christian radio station 104.7 The Fish to support the 2021 Fish Christmas Wish program. Chairman and CEO Mark Spain personally went live on the air in late November to speak to the Fish Wish recipient his firm will be assisting.
Anna is a single mom who lives in Auburn, Ga. with a 6-year-old autistic daughter and a 9-year-old son. The family relocated here from Texas in the last couple of years and Anna has struggled to get work in photography after her photography equipment was stolen during the move. Anna and her children are living with a life-long friend, surviving on random household jobs provided by friends from her church. She was nominated for a Fish Wish by her sister, Danielle.
The Atlanta-based, independent real estate firm plans to officially present gifts to the family later this month before Christmas. Gifts will include professional camera equipment, three months’ rent, a startup budget for utilities, a supply of groceries, a shopping spree for the family, iPads, and toys for the children, new clothes and shoes, and several other Christmas surprises.
“As the father of five children, I am grateful to have the opportunity to grant a local Atlanta family’s Fish Wish each year and bring some holiday cheer to those in need. Participating in the Fish Wish program allows me and the entire Mark Spain Real Estate family the privilege of making Christmas a joyful time for local Atlanta families,” explained Mark Spain.
The 104.7 The Fish radio network has been granting Christmas wishes since its inception in 2006. This marks the 16th holiday season and the program has given away hundreds of thousands of dollars in granted wishes since the program began. Mark Spain Real Estate has been actively involved with the Atlanta radio station’s various philanthropy programs for six years. Last year saw Mark Spain Real Estate’s largest contribution to date when it donated more than $11,000 to help brighten the holiday season of another metro Atlanta single mother whose son had specific medical needs.
Donations to go toward Fish Christmas Wishes can be made at the 104.7 radio station website. All donations are tax-deductible. One hundred percent of all funds raised are used to help fellow Georgia residents. There’s also still time to fill out a nomination for an individual or family in need of a little extra help this holiday season.
