About Indian Trail
This suburban town is located in Union County, North Carolina, and is home to over 38,000 people. This 22.12 square mile community is part of the Charlotte metropolitan area. Founded in March of 1874, Indian Trail was once a farming community visited by many traders. Once a railroad was established, Indian Trail grew into a prosperous community still seeing growth today. Since Indian Trail saw rapid growth in its population in the 21st century, the community has become popular because of its luscious greenery, outdoor activities, and parks.
