Tell us about you, Renee!  Where were you born, and what do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I was born in Selma, Alabama, and enjoy spending my free time with family and/or close friends. I also love to read, specifically self-help/personal development books.

When and how did you become a part of Mark Spain Real Estate?

I joined Mark Spain Real Estate in January 2021. During my decision-making process to join a broker, I interviewed several brokerages and chose Mark Spain Real Estate because the values of the organization aligned beautifully with my personal values.

How long have you been involved in real estate and where?

I obtained my real estate license in December 2020.

Why Mark Spain Real Estate?

The organization’s “Fundamentals” are why I chose Mark Spain Real Estate. Fundamentals such as, “do what is best for the customer”, “be relentless in pursuit of self-improvement” and “always go the extra mile” to quote a few.  These fundamentals guide my interactions with my clients and are the foundation to my success in real estate and in life!

What have you learned the most from working at Mark Spain Real Estate?

I’ve learned more about myself and what it takes to be a leader in my home and in my community.  Leadership is about leading without the title.  Making the tough decisions and doing what’s best for all parties involved, at all times.  I’ve grown as a person and as an agent since partnering with Mark Spain Real Estate.

What are your passions in life outside of work?

This sounds cliché, but I’m most passionate about my self-development and supporting others in their growth and development.  I’m constantly looking for ways to grow and to be better.  To do better. To support others in their pursuit of happiness and success.

Who inspires you in life?

My husband inspires me!  He is supportive, extremely intelligent, and lives his life with a servant’s heart.  He is my best friend, and he challenges me to be better, to go after my dreams, and to live a life that’s value-adding to others.  He is the epitome of a servant – everything he does is through the lens of a servant’s heart.

Tell us about the friendships you’ve made at Mark Spain Real Estate.

The friends I have made are an important part of my growth and development.  We lean on each other, support each other, collaborate, and depend on each other in challenging and fun times.  I am thankful for the friends I have made since joining Mark Spain Real Estate.

What are you looking forward to this year?

I am looking forward to helping twice as many families achieve their real estate goals this year.  Last year I had the pleasure of helping 36 families buy or sell, and this year I would like to serve twice as many families.
