Mark Spain Real Estate will sell your home for a 4% commission, rather than the normal 6% commission. This is a savings of thousands of dollars to you. Saving time, effort and money are just a few of the reasons to choose this program.
Q. How can Mark Spain Real Estate list my home for a reduced commission?
A. We are compensated by the builder of your new home. You receive the savings without paying for it. The builder pays.
Q. What if I have my own Realtor®?
A. If you already contracted with another Realtor®, then this program will not work for you. The Builder Referral Program is designed to help those who do not have a Realtor®. This program is not intended to take business away from other Realtors®.
Q. Since Mark Spain Real Estate reduces their commission, will they really advertise and market my home properly?
A. First, remember Mark Spain Real Estate does not get paid until they sell and close on your home. Second, we will give you a professional marketing plan that tells you exactly how we will market your home. Mark submits all of his listings to MLS and FMLS. Additionally, your home will have an internet presence via MarkSpain.com, Zillow and Realtor.com, in addition to many other leading websites.
Q. May I cancel my contract with Mark Spain Real Estate if I am unhappy with their services?
A. Yes. If at any time you are unhappy with the services we’ve provided you, the listing contract provides you with a cancellation clause. We are among the few Realtors® that offer this type of clause in the listing contract.
Q. What is an example of how I can save?
A. Say your sales price is $300,000. The typical commission for that price would be around $18,000. However, through our Builder Referral Program, the commission would be $12,000 saving you a total of $6,000!
